These gloves are strong, well fit and are non-irritating. a glove less expensive would work just as well, but these do not split or tear. I use them for medical purposes, and also in my kitchen handled raw meat. my hands are medium sized (ring size 7) and bought the medium. they adapt very well to the fingertips so handling small parts and doing detail work is easy; the gloves do not get in the way, like some of the other. the cobalt blue is beautiful too!
