This winch has really done the job for us. We used to load a scooter type of electric wheelchair in the back of our pickup. It can also be used to download even if we need the extra help. probably more power than we really need, but it will for other jobs too, if necessary. We carry a battery in a Toolbox in the back of the truck and, therefore, have a power source with us for remote control. We bring the windlass and all accessories and the battery in the tool box.
